A little about me…
I have been practicing as a Mental Health Counselor since 2006. I received my master’s degree in Community Counseling from Winthrop University. I later attended The Citadel to become certified in School Counseling.
Prior to private practice, I dedicated eight years of my career to treating individuals with chronic mental illness. I then worked in schools as a school counselor where I worked with children as young as four, exploring challenges in the home as well as at school. While in these settings, I treated and continue to specialize in treating: anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, attachment/family dynamics, life changes, and grief and loss.
I was born and raised in the Lowcountry. I am happy to still call this area my home. My husband and I love raising our four boys here. In my free time I enjoy reading and playing outside with my boys.
